The infant curriculum for age 6 weeks to 12 months includes goals and objectives. Our soothing nursery environment includes materials and experiences that are appropriate at different developmental stages, and provides ways parents and teachers can work together to promote the infant's development. The introduction to sign language begins in this class with simple gestures such as "play", "milk," and "more." Activities consist of infant massage, infant games, stimulating flash cards and videos, and different styles of music. Outside time is enjoyed on the bye-bye buggy as well as the infant playground. Our open door policy allows parents to visit at any time. Our teachers have participated in the Mother Read program through Smart Start and incorporate reading and language to your infant during individual care time. All of our teachers are S.I.D.S., CPR, and First Aid trained.

The toddler curriculum consists of 'on the go' learning through sensory tables, lots of art, and music. The Mother Read Program language is developed through word recognition, using creative storytelling and props such as flannel boards and flash cards. At this age, children learn that language has meaning. Over 100 words will be introduced throughout the school year. Children in this class continue to further their sign language skills to express their needs and wants. Teachers have a commitment to strong parent involvement through the use of daily reports and monthly newsletter.

The two-year-old curriculum consists of Montessori type math and living skills. Since studies show children learn math concepts such as size, shape, quantity, and patterning through manipulating objects, our lesson plans reflect the importance of developing these skills at an early age. We create a 'can do classroom' by implementing art, music, and small motor skills into the daily activities. Social skills begin to really flourish with children experiencing more interactive play rather than parallel play. Each child's progress is followed by using goals and objectives which parents can view during annual parent/teacher conferences. Parent involvement is encouraged in this room with the monthly "Mommy and Me" class. Daily reports are issued for each child, giving an overview of the daily activities and potty training progress.
